Day 01: Arrive in Addis Ababa and be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, a city tour of Addis Ababa. O/N Hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Mekele in the morning and upon arrival, pick up your car and drive to Amhedela. O/N Camping.
Day 03: Full day in Amhedela. Morning excursion to Dallol and the way back stop at Lake Assale to see the salt extraction work. Then return to the camp for lunch and late in the afternoon, walk out for viewing the camel caravan both ways. O/N Camping.
Day 04: After breakfast, drive to Dodum via Kurswad. Late in the afternoon, start trekking to Ertale. O/N Camping at the top of the crater.
Day 05: Early morning, start trekking down to Dodum, and after breakfast drive to Afedira late in the afternoon, and walk around the lake. O/N Camping.
Day 06: Drive to Awash. O/N Lodge/ Hotel.
Day 07: Morning game drive in the Awash National Park and then after breakfast, drive to Addis. O/N Addis Ababa.
Day 08: Fly back home. End of the tour.
