Day 01: Arrive in Addis Ababa at the Bole in International airport, be met, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Balance of the day, city tour of Addis Ababa. O/N Hotel
Day 02: After early breakfast set out for your long beautiful journey to Bahirdar. On the way visit the 13th-century monastery of Debrelibanos and the so-called Portuguese bridge and then continue driving to Debre Markos for lunch via the Blue Nile gorge. After lunch, drive to Bahirdar. O/N Hotel
Day 03: Full day in Bahirdar. Morning excursion to the Blue Nile falls. In the afternoon, a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit some of the monasteries. O/N Hotel
Day 04: Drive to Gondar and upon arrival check in to the hotel for lunch. Balance of the day visits the World Heritage city of Gondar. O/N Hotel
Day 05: Drive to the Simien Mountain National Park via the former Ethiopian Jews village. Lunch will be at the Simien Lodge and for the balance of the day explore the Simien National Park. O/N Simien Lodge.
Day 06: After breakfast, drive to Axum along the Lima Limo road that takes you through the northwestern extension of the Simien massifs and the Tekeze river valley. Stop for lunch at the shire and then proceed to Axum on the way stop at the famous Quarry site called Gebdura. Then at last drive to your hotel. O/N Hotel
Day 07: Full day in Axum. Morning visit the modern obelisks park, the underground Axumite Tombs, and the Archaeological Museum. After lunch, visit the tomb of Kaleb and Gebre Meskel, the Ezana stone Inscription, The Queen Sheba pool, the St. Mary Zion Church, and Dengure palace. O/N Hotel
Day 08: Drive northeast to the very historically famous Adwa and its surroundings and then proceed to Yeha the oldest historic monument between South Arabia and Ethiopia. Continue your driving through the spectacular countryside to Adigrat for lunch. Then dive to visit the churches of both Petros and Pawlous, Medahinealem Adikesho, and Wikro Kirkos. Day 09: Full-day driving to Lalibela via Sekota or Korem. On the way after lunch, visit the church of Yimrehane Christos. Then continue driving to Lalibela. O/N Hotel
