Day 01: Arrival in Addis Ababa. Balance of the day, city tour of Addis Ababa. O/N Hotel.
Day 02: After breakfast, drive to Debre Libanos via the Sululta plane and spend the afternoon around the escarpment overlooking the Jemma valley. O/N Ethio-Germen Lodge.
Day 03: Full day in Jemma valley for the Harwood’s Francolin, Black-Faced Finch, white-throated seedeaters, etc. O/N Ethio-German Lodge.
Day 04: Drive to Ankober via Debre Brihan. Ankober is the old capital of Menilik II before he moved to Entoto and later to Addis Abeba. Ankober is now known as the site for the Ankober Serin. O/N Ankober Lodge.
Day 05: Drive to Awash National park. O/N Awash Falls lodge.
Day 06: Full day in Awash National park. O/N Awash Falls Lodge.
Day 07: Drive to Langano via the Ethiopian Rift valley lakes. O/N Langano Lodge.
Day 08: Drive to Bale Mountains National Park. O/N Sheble Hotel.
Day 09: Full day on top of Senatie Plateau for the Ethiopian Wolf and many ruptures, spot-breasted Plover, Rouget’s Rail, the Abyssinian Cat on the way up to the plateau, and more. O/N Sheble Hotel.
Day 10: Full day on top of Senatie Plateau for the Ethiopian Wolf and many ruptures, spot-breasted Plover, Rouget’s Rail, the Abyssinian Cat on the way up to the plateau, and more. O/N Sheble Hotel.
Day 11: Full day in Arusi Negele. This is the best area in Ethiopia to see the Ruspoli’s Turaco and the Sidamo Lark. O/N Local Hotel.
Day 12: Drive to Yabello and on the way see the Steresmann’s Bush Crow and with luck the Ethiopian Swallow. O/N Yabello Motel.
Day 13: After breakfast, drive to the Yabello Sanctuary for more views of the Bush Crow, and then continue your driving to Konso for lunch. Afternoon, dive to Arbaminch. O/N Paradise Lodge.
Day 14: Full day in Arbaminch. Morning boat trip on Lake Chamo to see more water birds and crocodiles. Return to your hotel for lunch. Afternoon, be at your leisure. O/N Paradise Lodge.
Day 15: Drive to Wondogenet where we can see the Narina Trongo, White Checked Turaco, Double Toothed Barbet, etc. O/N Shebele Hotel.
Day 16: Spend the morning walking around the forest for more birding. Lunch will be in Ziway and later drive to Addis Abeba. O/N Fly back Home. End of the Tour!
